For regularly scheduled Ironwood performances, 100% of the ticket price goes to the evening's performers and the sound support. Since we add the ticket price to your bill, there's generally no need for advance tickets - simply make a reservation, and enjoy the music!

The NEW Ironwood Stage & Grill - WOW!!

"Music is THE THING at The Ironwood though, & there will be no recycling or bargain-hunting there. Not being a tech-gal myself, the make & model number etc of the yet-to-be-installed brand new sound system went in one ear and out the other, but the room already feels warm and fuzzy. Add in the new capacity of about 200 bodies, a great looking (& pretty inviting) bar and... you get the picture."

Allison Brock
MIX 97.7 blog

"The Ironwood has a long-standing reputation of being one of Calgary's finest folk music venues. Nestled in amongst the promenade of quaint shops and cafes along 9th avenue, the Ironwood is truly a jewel in the crown of the community of Inglewood.

"Live music is featured every night of the week; be it the fun and informal weekly wednesday open mic, or a saturday evening showcase of the hottest new touring act, the Ironwood boasts a tantalizing selection of sounds which is only matched by its outstanding menu. Offering a range of inspired dishes that range from heart-healthy summer salads to gourmet pasta and steak dishes, the Ironwood gives a fresh new take on a night out at the bar.

"The combination of warm, inviting atmosphere, well-made but modestly-priced food, world class entertainment and disarmingly-friendly staff makes it easy to see why the Ironwood is a favorite venue amongst so many Calgary locals."

The Nile Guide

The Ironwood Stage and Grill is a perfectly sized venue for live music (mostly roots, blues, folk, country). It used to be in a Quonset hut which, while quaint, doesn’t compare to their new digs in the renovated Garry Theatre.

The place is fabulous: an intimate stage, comfortable tables with unobstructed views, and an awesome, friendly staff. Now add to that a kitchen that does stellar pub food.
